貓糧研究 (2) - 1st Choice Nutrition Kitten 2-12 months Growth Chicken Formula

我發現原來"1st Choice" 有加拿大版和馬來西亞版。香港買到的多是馬來西亞版。兩者成份有不同，請各貓主留意。而我這個Blog講的是馬來西亞版。

在我初初接渣渣與古古回家的時候, 前主人告訴我他們吃的糧是"1st Choice"的幼貓糧。

Guaranteed Analysis:

Crude protein: 33%

Crude fat: 20%

Crude fiber: 3.5%

Moisture: 10%

Crude ash: 8.5%

Calcium: 1.2%

Phosphorus: 1%

Magnesium: 0.1%

營養比例Protein 和Fat 都合乎幼貓所需標準 (Protein = 33%, Fat = 20%)。雖然Ash有點高，但還可接受。但是， 當細心看一下成分表就會發現這並不是很好的糧。

紅色字是對貓貓不好/ 劣等的成份, 藍色字是可以接受但不應放在太前位置的成份。詳細資料請閱讀貓糧研究 (1) 。

"1st Choice Nutrition Kitten 2-12 months Growth Chicken Formula"成份如下:

Chicken (19%), chicken meal (19%), brown rice, brewer's rice, poultry meal, dried whole eggs, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols and citric acid), dried beet pulp, dried chicken, natural flavor, whole ground flaxseed, potassium chloride, rice bran, tomato pomace, lecithin, salmon oil (source of DHA), choline chloride, salt, calcium propionate, sodium bisulfate, L-Lysine, DL-methionine, mannan-oligosaccharides (prebiotics), taurine, biotin, L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C), fructo-oligosaccharides (prebiotics), iron sulfate, Dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), zinc proteinate, iron proteinate, zinc oxide, organic selenium, thiamine mononitrate, Yucca schidigera extracts, probiotics (Lactobacillus acidophillus, Lactobacillus casei, Bifidobacterium bifidium, Streptococcus faecium, Aspergillus oryzae), kelp meal, nicotinic acid, pyridoxine hydrochloride, vitamin B12 supplement, beta-carotene, cobalt carbonate, ginger extracts, calcium iodate, copper sulfate, manganese proteinate, tocotrienol, folic acid, manganese oxide, retinyl acetate (vitamin A), calcium d-pantothenate, copper proteinate, cholecalciferol (vitamine D3), riboflavin, cobalt proteinate,menadione nicotinamide bisulfite (vitamin K3).

好吧，"1st Choice" 的頭五樣已經有三樣是劣質的成份，最可怕的是它含有menadione nicotinamide bisulfite (vitamin K3)。實在是不可能給兩隻寶貝吃的吧。

"1st Choice"的一大賣點是便宜吧。3公斤裝售價為HKD$159。6公斤裝會更便宜。根據包裝袋上的指示, 如貓咪體重為2kg - 4kg, 每天需要的份量為 60-100g。平均每天$4.24(一隻)。
一打開"1st Choice"的包裝袋，便嗅到很濃烈的氣味，要我形容的話，是一種感覺很熱氣的味道。
貓貓吃完"1st Choice"便便都很臭, 但便便的顏色和形狀也是不錯的。另外一點, 糧的size 比較大粒, 有點咬感, 渣渣古古倒是很喜歡吃... 唯有慢慢改變他們了(握拳)。
